Prophet Owuor Should Be Investigated

Following the discovery of dozens of bodies — most in mass graves — at Shakahola, in the Coastal Region of Kenya, we urge the police to conduct thorough investigations into the Good News International Church and its notorious leader Paul Mackenzie Nthenge.

The outcome of the investigations should be made public to Kenyans. Kenyans deserved to know the truth about how this cult leader was free to preach such dangerous teachings for so long.

We further call on the police to investigate Prophet Owuor.

Our position is that Prophet Owuor is a cult leader, and poses a grave danger to his followers, just like Mackenzie. ‘Prophet’ Owuor thrives on non-verifiable belief systems, mainly based on fallacies that he visits God in heaven where he receives ‘revelations’ about how mighty he is. He is a danger to his followers.
