Atheists In Kenya Society

We Condemn The Murder Of Albert Ojwang

The death of Albert Ojwang at the hands of the POLICE has sparked a profound sense of sorrow throughout our nation. The Atheists In Kenya Society stands in solidarity with Ojwang’s family in mourning his loss.

Our nation has endured far too many instances of police violence and unlawful killings. We demand immediate police reforms and decisive action from our political leaders, so that this latest moment of anguish may finally catalyze the change our society desperately requires.

The origins of this tragedy are deeply rooted in a painful history marked by the failure of our leaders and institutions to address systemic police violence and extrajudicial killings. This is not a new issue in Kenya.

We call upon all Kenyans to rise against police brutality in any form and to uphold our fundamental principles of justice and equality.
