We are a registered atheist organization.
The Atheists In Kenya Society is an atheist organization, registered under the Societies Act, Cap 108. We are the first non-religious society to be registered in the country.
The national goal of the Atheists In Kenya Society is twofold — separation of church and state and to offer support to those who are like-minded (including agnostics, skeptics, humanists, free thinkers, skeptics, and spiritualists) and know they are not alone in a country where the majority have a religion.
The Atheists In Kenya Society is a member organization of Humanists International.

“Be curious, have a free mind and believe in the human race.”

Founder and President
Critical Thinking
We believe in making use of logic and reason to determine whether or not a claim is true.
Knowledge
We believe in the value of information, or knowledge, in decision making.
Freedom
People have a right to be free. For all to be free, each one has to respect the rights of others.
Compassion
Through compassion, we can understand the suffering and the plights of others.
The one life
We should have the freedom to shape our own lives, finding happiness in the one life we have and support other people to do the same. Despite the absence of any ‘ultimate’ meaning or purpose to the universe, we can make our lives meaningful.
