MP Donates Money For Purchase of Anointed Handkerchiefs

S aboti MP Caleb Amisi, together with lawmakers allied to the newly formed Kenya Moja political caucus, has offered thousands of shillings to Pastor Peter Manyuru’s church, the Jesus Teaching Ministry (JTM), to buy anointed handkerchiefs to supply to all three arms of government.

In a sarcastic twist of events, while attending a Sunday service at the church, the legislators maintained that the handkerchiefs would be supplied to the three arms of government to deal with the scourge of graft that is allegedly rife within the institutions.

According to the church, the anointed handkerchief has extra powers that, when waved, can expose anyone with dark practices. It is said to cause culprits to tremble, confess, and disclose their corrupt dealings.

Amisi said the contributions would cater for a total of 349 elected and nominated Members of Parliament, plus the Speaker, who have recently been accused of turning the legislative house into a corruption citadel.

Additionally, Amisi stated that 10,000 pieces would be supplied to the State House, 67 to the Senate, and 300 to the Judiciary.

“I have given Ksh100,000 to you, apostle, so that you can buy anointed handkerchiefs with that money and make sure that you supply the Judiciary, State House, and Parliament so that anybody involved in the vice can succumb to the powers of this piece of cloth,” Amisi stated.
